Dry cough is common in case of prolonged irritation of throat. Many a times, dry cough is also caused by side implication of any medicine. In case of normal cough, you can expect mucus. But, dry cough occurs without any mucus. There are various medicated syrups available which can help to reduce the condition of dry cough. However, prolonged use of these syrups can also cause harm your body. You can reduce your dry cough, by opting for various natural remedies.

Here are some likely remedies to cure dry cough:

Ginger in any form is effective in curing your dry cough. You can opt for two tea spoons of ginger juice along with one tea spoon of honey.
Try to have this three to four times in a day for effective relief from dry cough. You can also have one tea spoon of ginger juice with a pinch of salt. This method is positive in curing your dry cough.

Dry cough can also be cured using turmeric. You can use it in powdered form in case of warm water. You can put a pinch of turmeric powder in warm water and have it twice in a day. You can also opt for turmeric powder in warm milk on daily basis.
