The diet plan can be monotonous in nature. A fruit diet can be followed in case of cleansing of body. But, there are various drawbacks in case of following a fruit diet.

A fruit diet lacks nutrition of all the veggies, so it may be harmful for your body. Fruit diet isn’t apt in case of people suffering from diabetes. Fruit diet can cause a problem in case of these people. If you opt for fruit diet on long term basis, it can harm your eating habits. Fruit diet lacks all essential vitamins and proteins in complete form. It’s advisable to opt for fruit diet on short term basis in order to detoxify your body.

In terms of breakfast, you can opt for one portion of any fruit. This mainly depends on your choice and preference. You can also include cereals with skimmed milk in your breakfast.

In terms of lunch, you can include any two portions of fruits according to your preference. Normal choice in this case includes apples and bananas. In terms of lunch, you can also include two portions of proteins. You can include moderate amount of salads in your lunch. The dressing can be of your choice.

In terms of dinner, you can include two portions of fruit. You can include orange in this case. In dinner, you can also include two portions of protein. Dinner can also include one portion of grain serving.

You can also include varied types of fruits in your snacking. In this case, you may include peaches and plums. You can also include walnuts in moderate quantity.
