Cons of fad dieting
There
are various cons of fad dieting which you should consider. If you are looking
for instant weight loss, you may select various types of fad diets. But, fad
diets have many cons which may also harm your body in long run.
If
you opt for a fad diet for a short period of time, they may not be harmful to
the body. Diets like a three day or seven day diet have no side effects on
body. But, if you opt for a diet, which is for longer duration, then it might
cause problems to your body. Basically, fad diets are based on instant weight
loss diets. So, they can have side implication on your body.

dieting should be implemented on short term basis, because of its properties. If

required by the body. Fad diets work on specific meals and calories intake.
Let’s take an example of grapefruit diet. It works on the basis of having
grapefruit juice on daily basis. You can have certain fruits and veggies along
with grapefruit diet.

con in terms with fad diet is, when you opt for the diet plan, you instantly
lose weight. But, the moment you leave fad diet, you tend to gain weight. This
acts as a biggest con in choosing the fad dieting.
Fad
diet can also affect your body in a negative manner. You can lose up your energy
in implementing a fad diet. Many a times, particular diet may have foods which
are restricted in the plan. This can have adverse effect on your body. And, if
you stick to fad diet for a longer time, it can eventually affect your body.
Many
a times, fad diets deprive you of foods which you should consume on daily
basis. There are many foods which you should include on daily basis. When these
foods aren’t included in your diet, it may harm your body. So, you should a
particular fad diet based on your choice and preference.
