Arthritis diet is apt for people suffering from problem of arthritis. The diet plan helps to reduce the swelling and pain caused by the condition. The diet plan includes all the foods which are beneficial for the condition of arthritis.

Normally, foods which are restricted in arthritis diet are foods with high level of cholesterol. It is also believed, that fatty foods can aggravate the condition of arthritis. Normally, people select this diet plan on short term basis. But, arthritis diet can also be implemented on regular basis with certain constraints.

Here are some of the restricted foods in case of arthritis diet plan:

Try and avoid fatty and oily foods in case of arthritis diet plan. In case of arthritis diet plan, you should avoid foods which have excess starch in them. Some diet plans also recommend restricted intake of potatoes.

Try and avoid fried foods and baked foods. Intake of dairy products is also restricted in arthritis diet plan. In some cases, even intake of tomatoes is restricted in arthritis diet plan. Though, it can be included in moderate quantity. Eggplant is completely restricted in arthritis diet plan.

There are various foods which are good for arthritis. They help to provide respite from the pain caused by state of arthritis.

In this case, all the fruits which are high in vitamin C can be included in the diet plan. Even fruits like apples and kiwis should be included in arthritis diet plan.

It’s imperative to include sources of vitamin E in your regular diet plan. In this case, you can include fish and grains in good quantity. You can also opt for vitamin E supplements in your regular arthritis diet plan.

Arthritis diet plan helps to prevent the condition of arthritis to an extent. Though, it can’t cure the condition, it helps to relieve the pain caused by the state.
