Soy in any form is a rich source of high protein diet food.
But, in this case proper diet plan is followed. In case of soy high protein
diet; drink and meal both are soy based. Other form of food in high protein diet
is whey.
Whey is the most natural form of protein. It is obtained from cow’s milk.
Whey is free from any type of fats. It has no traces of cholesterol. It just
contains natural source of proteins for high protein diet. It is very effective
in weight loss program, and diet whey has properties, which help to control
hunger.
Irrespective of
advantages, high protein diet has various disadvantages. Fatigue is common, if
a person sticks to a high protein diet. Another disadvantage of a high protein
diet is; constipation. In a high protein diet a person is restricted to fiber
and other whole grain sources. As a result of which, a person can suffer from
excessive constipation problem. High protein diet can also cause low blood
pressure in some cases. When balance diet is restricted in the body, it can
cause blood pressure to fluctuate. High protein diet basically works on excessive
proteins. As a result there may be calcium deficiency in the body. Due to
calcium deficiency, bones tend to become weak.
A high protein diet is not a permanent solution for weight
loss. It can be implemented for a short period of time.
