High fiber diet

A high fiber diet is recommended to people who have a weak digestive system. High fiber diet plan helps in proper digestion of foods in body. High fiber diet is based on soluble and insoluble diet. You can include both types of fibers in your daily diet plan. But, this diet is not recommended for everyone. This diet is recommended to people who have stomach and digestion problem.

 A high fiber diet cannot be easily digested. But, a high fiber diet has various benefits in case of body. The diet is effective in prevention of various diseases like cancer and heart attack. The main reason for the same is; it can absorb bad cholesterol.
Various foods can be included in high fiber diet. Whole grain and fiber bread can be included on daily basis. You can also include cereals on daily basis. They are also good source for fiber. Two portions of foods should be included in your high fiber diet. You can include fruits like apples, peaches, pears and raspberries. They are rich in fiber. They provide good source of high fiber for your body.

You can also include raw vegetables in your high fiber diet. Raw veggies like cabbage, broccoli and celery should be included in your high fiber diet. Sprouts are excellent source for high fiber diet. Include sprouts on regular basis, if you are on high fiber diet plan. Peanuts and seeds are good source for high fiber. They should be included in your daily diet.
                      
In a high fiber diet, you have to be careful regarding fiber intake. Normal intake of fiber per day shouldn’t exceed 30 grams in a day. In case of normal fiber diet; you can restrict the intake to 20 grams in a day.

High fiber diet can be on short term and long term basis. Though, most of the people choose this diet on short term basis.
