Having buttermilk two times in a day is effective in case of dehydration. Butter milk helps water retention in the body. You can also put some lemon juice in water and drink it two to four times in a day.

Fenugreek seeds are very effective in treating dehydration in the body. You can take fenugreek in powered form, one or two times in a day. Or, you can also opt to mix fenugreek powder along with yogurt in case of dehydration. All these things help to hydrate your body effectively.

Caffeine should be completely avoided in case of dehydration. It can make the condition even worse. Other then this, you can also opt for papaya juice. But, it should be taken in a raw form. It also helps in water retention in your body. Try to have fresh fruits and veggies in case of dehydration.
