Home remedies for sprain

A sprain can be caused due to various different reasons. It is usually caused due to injury in the tissues of joints. A sprain a painful condition and is often associated with condition of fracture. 

Some of the common reasons for sprains can relate to excessive running, cycling or wearing high heeled shoes. Other causes can include lifting of heavy things on daily basis. 

Though, sprain is a temporary condition, a person is advised bed rest in this case. There are special types of bandages which help in quick healing of sprain. However, there are some natural remedies which can help to reduce the condition of sprain.

Here are some natural tips you can keep in mind:

Almond oil is very effective in terms of curing pain caused by condition of sprain. You can take two table spoons of almond oil and put one tea spoon of garlic oil into it. Apply it on your sprain affected area twice in a day. It helps to reduce the pain in an effectual manner.

Lime is also very effective in terms of curing the condition of sprain. Take some lime leaves in crushed form along with some butter. Mix both the things together and apply it to your sprain affected area. It helps to provide respite from the condition of sprain in a positive way.

Cabbage is also effective in curing your sprain. You can opt for cabbage in raw form of juice form. Try to have cabbage juice twice in a day. You can also opt for cabbage leaves in natural form. Warm the cabbage leaves and apply it to your sprain affected area. It naturally helps to cure the pain caused by sprain.

Turmeric is also effectual in terms of curing the condition of sprain. Add a pinch of turmeric in warm water and have it twice or thrice daily for curing your sprain. You can also opt for turmeric in warm milk in case of sprain. You can have this two times on daily basis.
