Egg diet is a basic weight loss diet. Many people opt for this diet in case of short term weight loss. This diet normally restricts the intake of excess carbs. The diet is good in case of muscle building. The egg diet is based on a protein form of diet. The diet plan works on the basis of individual preference.

The most popular form of egg diet is in terms with the grapefruit diet plan. The diet works on the basis of grapefruit juice along with the eggs. But, there are some benefits and drawbacks of the egg diet plan.

In terms of benefits, egg diet is high on proteins and vitamins, which is good for the body. Egg diet plan lets you lose weight in a short period of time. It’s good for people who need to reduce weight instantly.

In terms of drawbacks, egg diet plan restricts intake of various veggies, this can have a bad impact on health. Egg diet may cause other problems like constipation in a long period of time. It’s difficult to stick to this diet, because of monotonous diet plan. Once you stop the egg diet plan, there are chances of weight gain.

Let’s take a look at normal egg diet plan to be implemented on daily basis. In terms with breakfast of the diet plan, you may have two or three boiled eggs. But, this also depends on individual preference. In case of grapefruit and egg diet, you may have a glass of grapefruit juice.
