Curtains are most imperative part of your home decor. Curtains act as highlight of your home upholstery. If your curtains are bright and clean, it will definitely reflect in your room decor. There are many types of curtain fabrics people use in case of home décor. And, depending on particular fabric, curtains can be cleaned. You can use different methods in case of cleaning the curtains. You can opt for dry cleaning, simple cleaning or liquid cleaning depending on your choice.

Here are some tips you can keep in mind in case of cleaning your curtains:

Curtains can have lining depending on particular fabric. lined curtains are usually heavy in nature. You can opt for a dry clean in case of lined curtains. On the other hand, curtains without lining don’t require dry cleaning. These types of curtains can be cleaned using basic washing liquids. You can choose to clean these curtains on monthly basis. There are light and weight and can be easily cleaned.

You can inspect your curtains from time to time. Many a times, there can be some problems with lining in case of curtains. As a result of which they can even get stretched. And, once your curtains get stretched, it can affect the main fabric. You can replace the curtains in this case.

In case of washing your basic curtains, you can also opt for washing them in a bathtub. They can be cleaned in a much effective manner. Take some washing liquid and water in bathtub. Now, put your curtains in the tub. let it be there for some time. Now, opt for normal washing with cold water. This method helps to remove all the dirt in case of your curtains.

In case of cleaning your curtains in an effective way, you can also opt for vinegar in your washing liquid. Vinegar helps to removes all the stains from the fabric in an effective manner. It helps to clean your curtains in a positive way.

You can also opt for cleaning of curtains by using a vacuum cleaner. It’s effective for removing the dust which is accumulated on daily basis. You can use this three times in a week.
