Home remedies for bee sting


Bee sting in common due to honey bee, bee sting can cause excess swelling and redness in the affected area. Though, its short term in nature, it needs immediate attention. Here are some tips you can keep in mind:

Cold compress in the form of ice is the first thing to do after a bee sting. Apply the ice until the swelling goes from the sting area. Honey is also effective in curing of bee sting.
Take a tea spoon of honey and rub it in the affected area. It can give immediate respite from swelling.

 Aloe Vera gel is also very effective in bee sting. You can apply this gel in the affected area. It provides a cooling relief from burning sensation of the bee sting. It also helps to lessen the swelling.

Baking soda provides instant relief from the bee sting. Take one tea spoon of baking soda and mix it with cold water. Now, apply this in the affected area. You can also rub this in the affected area. It provides instant relief from redness and swelling of the sting.

Onions also work well in case of a bee sting. Take an onion and rub in the affected area. It provides effective respite from redness of the bee sting. It also helps to lessen the swelling caused by the bee sting.

Apple cider vinegar is also handy in case of curing bee sting. Take one tea spoon of apple cider vinegar and apply it on the affected area. It may burn a bit, but it helps to reduce the swelling caused by sting in a positive way.
