During the phase of menopause, there are lots of changes which take place in woman’s body. These changes have a direct impact on health of a woman. There are various changes which takes place according to individual body type. In this case changes in breasts are also common.

Almost all the women experience some form of change in their breast health. Though, these changes relate to varied stages of menopause. Breast swelling and tenderness are some of the common changes during menopause. In some cases, there is redness in the breast area.

There may be various reasons which may be related to breast tenderness during menopause. The main cause is uneven estrogen level in the body. Other cause may include hormonal imbalance. This can relate to early stages of menopause.

Uneven estrogen is responsible for breast swelling. When the level of estrogen falls, it causes excess of swelling in the breasts. However, if the level is proper, there is no swelling. So, it all depends on individual body type of women.

Any form of exercise is also good in case of curing breast tenderness in swelling. You can even take up to walking as a simple form of exercise.
