What is love?

“Love is when other person’s happiness is more important than your own happiness”. This is so true; love is unconditional and has no reasons. It’s really hard to explain the meaning of true love. True love is a love which is full of commitment and dedication. All the human emotions are directly related to the meaning of love. Patience, tolerance and understanding are some of the keys to true love.

Love can be explained as a bond which may last forever. The bond of love is so strong, that no one can attempt and break that bond. Bond of love is primarily based on mutual trust.

Love is an emotion which has to be felt from within. Status and materialistic things have no place in love. People believe love is blind; this is true to an extent. When we love someone, it’s purely from heart and soul. There is absolutely no thinking involved with the same. Emotions are there, but they are only in the form of purity and serenity. Belief and simplicity is another sign of pure love.

Love is often associated with the term innocence. This is also true to an extent; true love is also called as innocent love. True love is love which is selfless in nature. Therefore it’s compared with innocence of a child.

True love is a sign of selfless giving. If you keep expectations, in true love than that is not a sign of true love. Some people also associate true love with sacrifice. There are no ifs and buts in case of true love. It is purely based on purity of heart. Finding true love on the basis of soul mate is a tough thing to do. Soul mate is someone with which there is a complete connection of mind and soul. True loves provides complete peace of mind in emotional and mental attribute.
