Fiber rich foods

As other imperative nutrients and vitamins, fiber is also vital for our body. There should be a set amount of daily intake of fiber in our regular diet. Fiber rich foods help to build a stronger immune system in body. It also helps to strengthen the digestive system of the body.

Your daily intake of fiber comes from regular intake of fruits and veggies you have on daily basis. Fiber rich foods are bifurcated into two forms; it’s in the form of soluble and non-soluble fiber foods. But, daily intake of fiber rich foods is in the form of soluble fiber.

Here are some sources of fiber rich foods that you should include in your diet:

In case of fruits, apples and banana have maximum amount of fiber. They should be included in your daily diet. You can have one portion of both these fruits in your regular routine diet.

Even strawberries and cranberries have good amount of fiber as required by the body. Even fruits like kiwi and peach have high amount of fiber in them. You may have these fruits twice in a week, for your fiber intake.

In terms of veggies, broccoli and cabbage have maximum amount of fiber. Try to have these veggies at least thrice in a week, for intake of fiber in your diet. In terms with fiber, even spinach benefits your body.
