Marriage is a life long decision. But, age difference in marriage plays a very important part. There can be positive and negative implications of age difference in marriage. It’s all a matter of personal choice. But, it is a proven fact, that age difference beyond a certain limit can pose problems in marriage. Let’s take a look at some negative implications of extreme age difference in marriages.

 The basic factor in age difference is generation gap and thinking. In this case both you and your partner may think in opposite direction. This factor mainly takes into consideration lifestyle differences. It may be possible that younger partner likes loud music, and older partner likes soft music. In this case there can be difference of opinion. Lifestyle difference also implies in case of other likes and dislikes. Morals and values also play an important part in this case. In some cases, even eating habits of your partner can vary according to choice.

 Another factor in case of age difference in marriage is infidelity. This is particularly common, if a woman is bigger than man. After certain point of time, men may lose interest in older women. The reason behind the same is attractiveness. In some cases infidelity in case of women is also common. There are some younger women, who turn to younger men in case of infidelity.

Another factor to consider is the sex life. After some point of time, the sexual desire of older partner tends to get low. Because of which younger partner feels the brunt of same! Reduction in sex drive is common as you grow old. As a result of which, younger partner has to suffer. There is ninety percent difference of opinion in case of sex related issue in these marriages.
